Dualbeam Analyst

ACE is seeking:

• Dual-beam operator to perform cross-section(s) / EDS / STEM
• Utilize dual-beam system for TEM sample preparation.
• Will maintain and optimize Dualbeam FEI 6** microscope.
• Communicate with clients directly, phone, emails.
• Collaborate with dual-beam scientist in application development for TEM sample prep techniques.
• Motivated independent thinker with problem-solving skills.
• An understanding of electron microscopy.
• Provide clients with high resolution resolution images, STEM, and EDS data.
• Team player, ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• AA, Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D.

Transmission Electron Microscopy Scientist

ACE is seeking:

• Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) scientist to lead the operations of the facilities’ FEI Titan TEM.
• Will maintain and optimize the microscope operation, work closely with clients and equipment vendor.
• Communicate with clients directly, phone, emails, presentation, meetings.
• Collaborate with dual-beam scientist in application development for TEM sample prep techniques.
• Motivated independent thinker with problem-solving skills.
• Provide clients with atomic resolution images, STEM, EELS and EDS data.
• Team player, ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• + 5 yrs in academics or industry experience.
• AA, Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D.
